I can’t get the picture-uploading thingy to work using my cellphone’s
e-mail software, bleh. Will have to figure it out later; it works using
Gmail on my laptop! Not that I have anything super cool to upload, it just
bugs me that I can’t do it.

The first show in St. Louis went pretty well considering! It was at a
punk-rawk club, I was the last of 8 bands, heheh. We’re staying at Adam’s
dad’s house now. Very comfy. Well… it’s really hard to type on my
cellphone; I’m making too much noise while the guys are trying to sleep.
And we have to get up at the crack o’ dawn anyway so I’ll continue this
tomorrow. Onward to Omaha!

I sure hope this works!  I took this picture of Eric last Sunday as we were walking south on Damen Ave. towards Irving Park.  He was singing the "Call Me" 45 at 33 rpm.  OK, maybe you had to be there… :-)

No matter how hard it tries, St. Louis will always suffer from Chronic Little Brother Syndrome, forever in the shadow of its hipper, savvier older bro, Chicago. For St. Louis music fans, this fact is driven home by the number of great bands living and working in Chicago. This Friday finds two of that city’s finer acts sharing the Creepy Crawl stage, as Edith Frost and Manishevitz kick off their fall tour in our humble little town.

My pal… okay, my very very good pal (tee hee!!) Eric Ziegenhagen is playing a show in Los Angeles this coming Saturday the 27th at a place called Genghis Cohen… go out there if you can, you won’t be sorry!  He’s awesome, you’ll love his music.
