• Last night @ the Ivy Room was pretty fun. Bumped into Weasel Walter, a fellow former Chicago scenester / musician. It’s a small weird world. #

• Another day, another February Lady Sweater frogged. And I’m starting again, again. Grim determination or pointless masochism? Hard to say. #

• Alternate buttonhole-placement memory device: Women are right. Men are wrong (left). #

• How to remember which side the buttonholes go on: If the boyfriend is driving w/ gf as passenger, he should be able to look INTO her shirt. #

• OMG I’ve been BABBLING. I have to remember that every person I meet is not interviewing me for some music rag. Who says I can’t listen? Uhhh #

• One of those days. But not totally: I was the recipient of an act of kindness from a stranger. Meant more to me than she could have known. #

• I think I settled on a buttonhole technique that doesn’t look like total ass. Better write that shit down! Laminate it! #

• So pissed at buttonholes. Researched in every knitting book at home & Barnes & Noble. There is just no such thing as a good one, is there. #

• Fucking buttonholes. They should be called buttholes. Because I hate them, and they obviously hate me too. Meh #

• 2nd time frogging & restarting Feb. Lady Sweater. First it was a missed increase, now an unacceptably ugly buttonhole. Used a lifeline? No. #

Hey look what I made! My first actual garment that isn’t a scarf, hat or pair of socks. :-)
