I got back to California late Monday night… had a great time touring Europe with Espers, but ohhhh it’s so good to be back home again!!  I never got much sleep on the road so I’m trying to make up for it now, but I’m totally hammered with jetlag and can only sleep 4 or 5 hours at a stretch.  Seems a lot worse on this side than it was going over to Europe… I don’t think it’s supposed to work that way but whatever!

I didn’t know any of the Espers kids before this tour, but they were all friendly and welcomed me into the fold inasmuch as that was possible.  Helena (the cellist) and Kelly (the driver) were particularly awesome.  Musically it was a good (enough) match and they’re a great band, a pleasure to watch every night.  Best shows for me were in London, Barcelona, Fribourg and Berlin.  Most common frustrations for me: yucky food in some places, and getting shafted over set-times by certain promoters and/or soundmen.  Oh well.

I’m working on getting my pictures up on Flickr and will post a link to the full set once I’m done.  I didn’t bring my laptop on this tour; the only access I had was on a Sony PSP.  I could read my Gmail but due to the crappy browser I couldn’t reply very easily, so I just didn’t.  Couldn’t deal with MySpace either, or much of anything else!  Gotta catch up on all that shit now.

My dad got me a Netflix subscription for Christmas!!  I’m very excited about that.  Ohhh it’s so nice to be home.
