Bjork - Medulla
Wednesday September 15, 2004 – 8:54 am
John turned me on to this yesterday; I didn’t even realize it was out already. I like it so far but I’m going to have to hear it a few more times before I can decide how it stacks up next to Vespertine. One thing I’d like to point out is that this is the second album in a row where Björk is showing us her armpit. Lookin’ good!

Though my hubby can’t stand her, I love nearly everything Bjork does. Since it’s been years since she’s had a "real" new album (not simply remixes) I grabbed "Medulla" as soon as it hit Tower Records. yes, it will take time for the mostly vocal album to soak in. But that’s why Bjork is so special…she’s truly unique among vocalists.
My fave of hers is the jazz voal album she did with her father.
Always wonderful to break that one out around Christmas…it has such a warm feeling…”Ruby Baby" is simply the best, with all her squeals and growls
did you see Bjork at the Olympics with that mammoth flowing dress? AMAZING!
back to studying (had to comment on Bjork!)…take care, Lynette
