Death of a color card

My first computer, an Apple II+, was given to me in 1982 as a hand-me-down from my dad’s office.  Eventually the color card started failing, and went into terminal convulsions, barfing up an endlessly rotating kaleidoscope of little colored boxes.  The exact date of departure has been lost in the mists of time, but I’m glad to say I had the presence of mind to use my camera before getting out the shotgun.
