If you’re into Scrabble, you might enjoy watching the documentary "Word Wars" on the Discovery Times channel tonight. My wife and I saw it at a theater here in New Jersey last night, and it was pretty good. When we got home, I looked up the movie’s web site and found that it was going to be on TV tonight. 8 pm Eastern, with about a half dozen repeats over the next day. I suppose they’ll have to clean up the language a bit….
Scott Petersen here. I’m the director of Scrabylon (and an Edith fan - I used to live in Chicago). Thanks to Son of Speck for the mention.
Any of you Chicago-area folks who want to see Scrabylon can do so at Facets (on Fullerton) on October 13 at 7 pm. Otherwise, the DVD is available at http://www.scrabylon.com

I’m VERY into Scrabble but unfortunately I don’t have cable anymore. I can’t even think of anybody I know who does. :-(

Believe it or not that’s not even the first Scrabble doc, there’s another one called "Scrabylon" out making the rounds…
