Drummed off my crush list
Monday August 23, 2004 – 6:50 amA little birdie has told me that the guy I like to talk to at Different Strummer — the one I thought was so cute all this time — well, he’s a drummer, not a strummer. And I’m sorry, but that changes everything!! Drummers are all well and good, they are hilarious and great to talk to alright, but they are NOT all that cute or crushworthy in my opinion, as a general rule of thumb. I really go more for the strummers — and sometimes I can worship a good keyboardist from afar, but the ones I really drool over are mostly all guitarists or bassists. Sorry drummers. Can we still be friends?

Jesus, you can’t tell when I’m full of it? Just assume I’m always full of it and you’ll be doing fine.

Yeah. I can tell you’re full of it. I guess it’s whatever does it for you.
Hey: Do you remember when you played in Portland in like 1998 or 1999? And you stayed in a big loft space with Andy Graham and his little dog named M2? I was one of the roommates there. I just realized your site (which you were doing back then even) has turned into a blog. You’ve got yourself some nice features on this thing. I like the registration feature. I could use something like that on mine.
OK. Later.

Hey Adam, I’m sorry for snarlin’ at you, ask anybody what a bitch I am since I quit smoking! (This is Day 14.) I totally remember you. I have a picture of us in that bathroom of y’all’s, I’m looking for it now.
