		<description>&lt;p&gt;Thanks Deborah! You can totally knit with cotton.  I make a lot of dishcloths with cotton yarn (Lily Sugar &amp; Cream is one that&#039;s cheap as hell and easy to find). It&#039;s a little rough on your hands compared to wool, and it&#039;s not as stretchy, but it totally works. And there are &lt;em&gt;good&lt;/em&gt; cotton yarns you can use, like Cascade Sierra is gorgeous.  I learned how to knit off YouTube, you should do it too!  I think you&#039;d really take to it. &lt;p&gt;I am very interested in learning how to knit, although here in Houston, it&#039;s really too hot for wool, and moths are very abundant.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Can you knit in cotton?  Or is that insane?&lt;/p&gt;
