Tonight was our last open-mic gig until after the gig on Jan. 2nd.  We did only songs with "Love" in the title.  "Rarely/I Live For Love," "Jinx of Love," "I’m Saving My Love," "I Wish I Could Fall In Love Again," and "Please Be My Love." I think Jinx of Love went over so great.  We played it best of all the songs.  I GOTTA WRITE MORE TUNES FOR MY GIG!!!  NEW TUNES!

It was so funny with D. today.  I had promised to take him to the "Wreck-a-Stow" after work today, but I’d forgotten that I had a doctor’s appointment for my pill refill.  We didn’t know where to meet, so it ended up that D. was gonna meet me in the doctor’s office waiting room.  So he strolls in and I’m still waiting to be called, and we’re waiting there with a couple of other ladies and some nurses or whatever.  Of course D. is cracking jokes about the magazines etc., and when they call me in, he sez "Bring me something, okay?" "Okay!" So what I brought him was one of those wooden cervix-scrapers that look like a popsicle stick.  I stuck it in my pants cause D. had my purse.  When I came out I whisper "I gotcha something!" "YOU GOT ME SOMETHING?!?" "YEAH, SHUT UP!" He was Well Pleased with my gift, lemme tell you.  He’d never even SEEN a real cervix scraper before.

So we walked down to the "Wreck-a-Stow" and I got him in like Flynn and he got a business card and everything.  We went back to my place and listened to Baby Gramps and smoked pot.  He left and I got ready for the show, and after the show he came over again!  D. is, like, my best friend at this time.
