We had fun at the Drag City party.  I got to sing backups for Bonnie Prince Billy!! That was so cool.  He played two songs but I didn’t know the second one so I laid out for that.  It was soooo packed in there.  At midnight I was running around the crowd trying to find John while everybody else was kissing and hugging each other all around me.  One minute later I found him so we did the 12:01 kiss, oh well, same diff.  We didn’t stay very long after that; the Scene Creamers were playing when we bolted around 1.  I didn’t have the nerve to take any pictures, but I should have.  I’m out of the habit; I didn’t take a single picture when we were down in Texas either!

John has tomorrow (=today) off from work so we’ll have a nice lazy day at home.  Well, the apartment’s kinda trashed, but we can do a little housework as long as we’re lazy about it.  Wouldn’t be right to work too hard on a holiday. :-)
