Edith,
Everyone in Seattle is awaiting your arrival. Your press agent is leaking disinformation to keep people from gathering outside your hotel suite, but in case you still need cover, do the ol’ standby, with the staple gun and the six live chimps. Remember it’s key to give the chimps a shot of whiskey each before affixing them, or it’ll take a LOT longer, believe me.
Will you be playing your new stuff, or your old stuff. I love the old stuff. No offense, I mean the new stuff is good too, but when I listen to Calling Over Time I hear an artist with fire in her belly, a woman ready to throw down jams, a woman that would not be stopped by industry barriers, rising fuel costs or pesky headcolds.
And now look at you, you’re making booty-call records!
By the way, there’s no smoking in clubs in Seattle now. you gotta stand 25 feet from the door. Yep. No worries though, I hired local indigenous craftspeople to make you a necklace warding off evil spirits and they tucked some nicotine patches in there. That’s how you strap it on. Ingenious, eh?
See you soon.

how’s the voice holding up?
from the Black Sheep to the Hi-Dive, sounds like that list of bars in the old X song.
