It’s a Game by WHO?

Baaa ha ha ha ha!!! Thanks John. Thanks a lot. ;-)
Overall, It’s a Game is too diffuse and uneven for casual listeners, but hardcore Bay City Rollers fans will no doubt find it to be an intriguing listen.
Mark says I should only play on S - A - T-U-R - D-A-Y… NIGHTs!!

There was a goofy band called the Bay City Rollers back in the golden age of AM schlock, who dressed up in tartan lederhosen and were very big with the Tiger Beat crowd. Apparently they put out an album with the same title as my new album. But I guess it’s not that funny unless you’re an ol’ music nerd.

I remember the T.V. show.

yeah — the TV show was produced by Sid & Marty Krofft, who also brought us H.R. Pufnstuf, the Bugaloos, and… the Donny & Marie show. i personally think you should start covering "I’m a little bit country, I’m a little bit rock n’ roll". only you could sing the whole thing yerself, seein’ as you’re both.

I remember seeing this game skewered in a snotty hipster magazine. I quote: "Usually framed or tacked to the wall after the participants realized that just thinking about the Bay City Rollers was more fun."
