Hi Edith,
I’m a German journalist, we met around 2000 at Jim O’Rourke’s place and I interviewed you. But you may not remember this. I still love your songs. Each time I play them to someone, they cannot believe it. So when will you offer the world your next record. We all are urgently waiting for it.
And I will be the first one writing about it.

Ha!! I do vaguely remember that interview, mainly b/c Kampmann was my great-grandmother Eda’s last name. :-) Thanks so much for your kind words. I’m working with an outfit now called Distant Correspondent — we’re in heavy talking-to-labels mode at the moment, decisions are being made. All I can say! ;-) We’re aiming to get a full album out ASAP, get on the road, the whole bit. Maybe I’ll make it back to Germany this way!
