Laura Park, the amazing artist who did the drawings & lettering for my new album, put together this benefit to raise a little money for her coworkers at her day job — the company is based in New Orleans, all those workers had to evacuate. So this money is going towards helping those particular people until they can return to their jobs in NO.

(For the record, great show — 30-40 people in the upstairs part of Myopic, near the Milwaukee Ave. windows; rain outside; Hasbrouck and Jason sharp and spontaneous (esp. taking it down to just brushes and guitar toward the end of "A Mirage"; mix of old songs and ones from the new record; and a raffle after the set with a prize or two for everyone, including art, clothes, and chocolate truffles.)
