Gawd, is it Wednesday already?  The week’s been slipping by so fast I had no idea.  I wish John had another long weekend coming up, it was so great having all that lounge time!

Alyce came over on Saturday, we ordered pizza and watched some Chris Cunningham videos on a DVD she had.  Always fun hanging out with her. I showed her some episodes of Mr. Show as well, she hadn’t seen it before.


I’ve been making a bunch of DVDs lately, transferring old stuff from VHS tapes.  I’m just about to get all the Ben Stiller Shows on one DVD, just in time for them to come out with the commercial DVD!  Oh well, it’s better than keeping three videotapes laying around.  I’m also making compilation DVDs just for fun, for some pals.  I wish I could keep my whole video collection online where they can log in and get whatever they want.  I could probably set something up like that on my own computer, using DynDNS or whatever, but I’m too paranoid, I’d probably be violating my ISP’s TOS.  Better to make DVDs and just mail ‘em!

We had some work-folk in here today scraping and replastering part of our ceiling.  It was a pain to get all the furniture out of the way, and clean up all the dust afterwards. But it was worth it, it looks soooo much nicer now.  It wasn’t the kind of thing you’d notice right away when you walked in the room, but once you did, it was pretty grody-lookin’.  The guy made it look so easy, I want to plaster stuff too!!  I want to buy some plaster and plaster everything with plaster.
