hey friend (no ster required), how you doin’? site looks great. I haven’t seen it in awhile. it seems to me the last time I poked around you must have been moving it or something, I remember not finding it. I may well be referring to a time more than a year ago. thanks for nudging me, friendsterially.

life is good out here-way. busy busy! still in Brooklyn, workin fer bn.com (5 years now), doing OK. my family is good, daughter just turned 3, she’s amazing. wife is good. what can I say? things chug forward. been in NYC for 11.5 years now, brooklyn for almost 10! I guess I’m an adult — I’ve reproduced after all. I’ve still got some music happening, though mostly that = singing in a choir. I am writing a piece for that choir, as well, but that’s coming very slowly.
that’s all I have to say for myself. i hope yer OK.
btw, I was reading someone’s comment on your first double-single, and they make reference to the picture on the cover of your first LP. but he thinks it’s the Sears tower. very Chicago-centric fella — of course, it’s Chuck’s Twin Tower puddle pic he means, which has extra poignancy these days. I pulled that record out and just stared at it a few weeks after that big day. not even sure I played it. just looked at it.

HEY IAN!!! Well, it hasn’t been *that* long, but still it’s great to hear from you. I visited the Hums Do Not Intrude pretty recently, always grateful for its presence. Did I turn you on to them? If so, hooray for me!!! Because you’re the best R&TL;fan there ever was and ever will be.

OMG… that WAS you!!!!! I was checking ’ster this morning and in the "meet new people" you were the first box. I was going to write you about it to make sure it was you…. then so many other people added you too(Alyce, Davina, john) after your invitation. I had wondered if you were on the network a while ago, and it is good to see you joining the cult…err phenomenon….
