We’ve been watching the Bugaloos, a kiddie fave of Wil’s. I remember it vaguely too, but I’m very much a child of H.R. Pufnstuf & Lidsville. #
Feeling a little guilty for not confining my anti-spam foaming-at-the-mouth to my own webpage(s). #
Listening to a Teresa James cover of DeZurik Sisters’ “Arizona Yodeler”. I’d never dream of even attempting that, mainly ‘cuz I can’t yodel. #
Preparing an external drive for Time Machine. I’ve been living way too dangerously waiting for a Leopard-compatible version of SuperDuper. #
Finished “The Millionaires” free audiobook from iTunes. Enjoyed it OK but felt like escapist fare compared to my usual diet of cyberpunk SF. #
H.R. Pufnstuf (the character) was created for HemisFair ’68 in SAT & was the symbol of the fair. I was there, 4 yrs old. Wonder if I got it? #

Depressed about Xmas. Got one good present for Wil but I’m on such a tight budget, that’s all I could afford. What about everyone else? Ugh. #
(Knowing what I know about that word, I shouldn’t be saying I’m “depressed”. I’m not depressed, just disappointed in my poor money skills.) #

On a mailing list where everybody’s kvetching about top-posters who don’t trim replies, and ppl who post “me too!”. Quaint, but still valid. #
Got a full physical today for the first time in ~25 years. I’m good but they wanna run all these extra tests to look at everything. BLAHRRGG #
Did you know that 3/4 of women my age have a fibroid? I certainly didn’t. That’s nasty! Supposed to be nothing to worry about at all though. #
(of course I’m worried anyway because I had no clue, and don’t know what that is, and gotta get an ultrasound for it, goddammit.) #
Totally aching where they stuck me with 3 immunization shots. Grumpy like a a 43-year old minus the forty. And no lollypop to show for it! #
Just passed the halfway point in the audiobook of Spook Country — I had to start over after putting it down for a month or two. It’s goood. #

DAMMIT! My iPhone’s volume rocker just lost its clickum. It thinks I’m pushing the up button and won’t stop. ARGH #
HA! I got my geeky dad all intrigued about the Kindle. I *knew* he’d be into it. :-) #
Met up with the wreck-a-stow lady. Status upgraded to “probably sometime”! FU if it seems an odd choice for a webcoder. I’d love it there. #
I love mystery packages even if they’re not for me. Wil got one and it’s driving me mad even though it’s prolly just boring ol’ boy stuff. #
For somebody who doesn’t even own a car anymore, I sure am indignant over that jalopy parked in our spot for the last 9 days. #
LOL!! In the Kindle video demo of the dictionary feature he looks up the word “profligate”: recklessly extravagant or wasteful of resources. #
