TwitterTools tweaks
Friday May 30, 2008 – 3:12 pmI just started (again) using the TwitterTools plugin for WordPress to post individual tweets directly to my blog. Problem is, I wasn’t happy with the way the tweets were being displayed — raw and unstyled, and with no linkback to the status page on Twitter. When you use the post-to-digest feature it does have the linkback, and it’s easy to style because you can target the enclosing list element. So I wanted to copy those two features over for the individual tweet-to-blog posts. So I hacked that plugin into shape! I’ll post the steps I took in case it comes in handy for someone else.
- Just heard Mel Brooks on NPR re: using “Puttin’ On The Ritz” in Young Frankenstein. Now using SuperDuper to clone my laptop. SYNCHRONICITY!! #

- Comment on “Customizable Comment Listings v2.0″:
For some mysterious reason the 2.5 plugin auto-updater deleted this plugin for me, then installed and activated a copy of “Hide or Cut Post Text” instead. I had to install CCL 2 by hand.
- Trying out Evernote, getting frustrated. Find does nothing on the Mac client. Web find doesn’t find the word Macworld in a photo of the mag. #
