The word was that the show was moved to Fiesta Gardens when Tina Weymouth found out an open-air venue was available and she and the baby could get a break from the smoke. What a lucky break for all of us–it was brilliant at Fiesta Gardens. I didn’t see any cars with a black line painted on them, but on the way to my car I walked along a street where every car had its windows broken out.

I was there! A fantastic show, definitely in my top ten. It was a beautiful evening, the sun was setting, the band was crankin’ out funk by the chunk, and I danced around on the grass like a crazy man from beginning to end. I was so euphoric by the time it was over that I didn’t even care that someone had spray-painted a black line down the side of my car during the show. Every time I saw that black line of paint on the side my old beater of a car I smiled ’cause it reminded me of what a great night I’d had … a small price to pay as far as I was concerned.

I was at this amazing show (Tina Weymouth 7-8 months pregnant!), and the venue was changed with a few days notice. I don’t remember why, but the Colesium tickets were honored.
