We don’t even have the saving grace of seeing the Red Sox appear in the World Series.
Yankees-Marlins. Talk about an underwhelming matchup.
But I will say that the Cubs at least tried. And a lot of the games were quite the nailbiters. But there’s certainly no joy in Wrigleyville.
I’m heartbroken over this. Me and the whole damn city! ::sob:: But it was such a blast, they did great up until those last few games. I’ll be watching again next season for sure.
