I did an interview on Tuesday with this woman Elizabeth Lenhard, for an article that’s going to appear in Chicago Magazine in July or thereabouts.  It was just an average interview… she came over here and I was a little bit spaced-out since I was recovering from a cold (which she knew about — I’d had to put off the interview an extra day already because of that).  She didn’t seem overly familiar with my music.  Seemed to go a little over the top on the subject of money and how it is that I make my living.  That bugs me — why don’t they just talk about the durn music?  I’m not in it for the money.  I’m not going to be able to impress anybody with my income, and I don’t need their pity!  Well, whatever.

There’s a new worm that’s been traveling like wildfire around the internet the past few days, called Homepage.  It travels around via a VBScript attachment which pulls a user’s list of contacts from Outlook and spams everybody on the list with an e-mail advertising a porno site, and replicates itself simultaneously with another vbs attachment.  Those fuckers!!  Luckily I haven’t used Outlook’s address book in forever.  John’s dad got infected though… all his clients got spammed!  But, he wasn’t alone since half the internet got infected also.  Not me though!  hee hee

Rian has been asking me about whether or not I want to partake in some shows along a tour that Bill Callahan’s doing in June.  It’s a bus tour, so I wouldn’t have to worry about using my van.  Still, I didn’t really want to go on the road again until after the new album is released!  At this point I’m still thinking about it and Rian isn’t pestering me too much to decide immediately.  He seems to believe that by the time the tour rolls around, there actually will be some actual copies of the product that I’ll be able to sell at shows.  Things that make you go "hmmmm".
