Willard Grant Conspiracy - Sticky
Thursday October 14, 2004 – 4:06 pmGlitterhouse is giving away an MP3 of a Willard Grant Conspiracy track I did backups on, called "Sticky". It appears on a new best-of compilation called There But For The Grace Of God — this version of "Sticky" sounds like the version that appeared on the Color of the Sun EP, which was an alternate take of the one on the album Mojave — but the timing is different from either of those versions so I dunno, maybe this is an alternate-alternate. I’ll ask Robert the next time I catch him on IM.
(Thanks to Craig at Songs:Illinois for the heads-up!)

The WGC song "Sticky" song is nice…I like the vocals. My music student son noticed that the chords are similar to the last part of Led Zeppelin’s "Stairway to Heaven" (”and as we wind on down the road, our shadows stronger than our souls”) - wonder if this was a conscious choice(??) Hope everyone is well wherever they are. Things are getting icy here already…Happy Halloween - PS - wish I would get a few notes from God…that’s cool…didn’t know He left notes on windsheilds! - Lynette
