I’m typing this using Apple’s new web browser, Safari. Whoo-hoo! I’ve gotten so hooked on Chimera that this thing’s gonna have to be super great to get me to switch. What, no tabbed windows? Uggghh.
Hi Jean! Safari ain’t ready for primetime, so I guess I still recommend Chimera. Safari won’t save login names and passwords, doesn’t have tabbed windows, doesn’t render cascading style sheets correctly. Not yet anyway! I hope it gets more features by the time it gets to 1.0. I’m still waiting for Chimera to get a bookmarks-subscription feature, that’s the only reason I still use IE occasionally.
Yeah, I was looking at Chimera last night, and when I discovered the lack of subscriptions, I shut it off and powered up IE again. But I hate being a drone of MS. :P

Feck. I don’t have Jaguar yet, so I can’t use Safari. I’ll have to go check out Chimera. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of it before.

I’m really digging OmniWeb’s subscription feature. It’s not quite good enough to use as my main browser, but it’s way better than IE.
